Show Plans and Results 

We believe hosting shows is a responsibility of every good breeder and another way of offering our own "breeder support" to our customers.

In May 2004, Ground Rush Farm hosted the Culpeper Show, offering 5 AGS shows.  Over 100 Nigerians entered!  

In 2003 we hosted two show dates for a total of  7 AGS shows!   

This year (2008) our lives are filled with teenagers and coaching!  We are grateful to our friends Janet Shlanta, Springs Run, and Jeannie Allen, Wether or Not, who have taken on hosting a show in May 2006, May 2007, May 2008!  

Shows create the opportunity for new goat owners and new breeders to learn and interact with other goat enthusiasts.  

Our shows have been well attended, offering excellent competition for the established breeder too.  The quality of Nigerian Dwarf Goats in our show area is outstanding!  Win or lose we always come away with more knowledge and higher goals.  

Our shows are very family oriented and a great learning experience for kids.  So if there is someone out there who has been thinking about getting started in showing just jump in and get your feet wet!
